The VIES VAT EU Validator module automates the verification process of VAT numbers for companies operating within the European Union. It enables automatic data retrieval from GUS for Polish companies, facilitating customer data management and improving information accuracy.
The module integrates with address forms in the PrestaShop store, allowing real-time VAT number validation without page reload. Users can configure countries for validation and set exceptions for selected customers.
The module is compatible with PrestaShop versions 1.6, 1.7, 8.0, and 9.0 and requires PHP version 7.1 to 8.4. ionCube Loader installation is also required.
